The Children's Tomorrow exhibition, created for children affected by the Adiyaman earthquake, was opened by Istanbul Governor Davut Gul at the end of 2023.

Held at The Maestro Hotel as the first painting exhibition of the Republic's centenary year, the event gave young students the opportunity to present their work and explain their creative process.

Renowned Turkish contemporary artist Ismail Acar led the project, building an artistic connection with children affected by the earthquake through the healing power of art.

The works created in the workshops represent far more than paintings. They helped the children process a difficult period through art, reveal their abilities and begin a hopeful journey.

Istanbul Governor Davut Gul said: "Mirzaoglu Holding and our artist Ismail Acar brought children affected by the earthquake in Golbasi to Istanbul and are showing them the city. Experiencing new places and seeing locations they have read about in books can help children move through this trauma. These children are our future."
